N’Doye’s days at Dinamo are counted. Again!

A strong challenge for the ball during a recent training session, which could have got striker Florin Bratu injured, plus the diallogue that followed questioned once again Ousmane N’Doye‘s future with the Red Dogs. This time, in a moment when his impressive recent performances had erased his agitated nightlife and got him close to landing an extension to the current deal, thich will expire in the summer.

In fact, www.gsp.ro talks today about a possible exchange between Dinamo and CFR Cluj, involving the clubs’ best anchormen, N’Doye-Muresan. Personally, I doubt it and it’s pure speculation. If CFR wants N’Doye, then it’s enough to make him an offer he can’t refuse ;-), what’s the point in giving up a national team player, a good professional and decent character, not to mention offering him to a rival club? But this is a nice headline for the masses, right?

Anyway, as good as he is – by Liga I standards – N’Doye should be offloaded by the Red Dogs, as their biggest problem is the lack of professionalism and the bad atmosphere from the locker, not the players’ and team’s quality and potential.

I definately have to disagree here. N’doye’s nightlife is being highlighted by the media to make the news and the officials are obviously forced to react. Yes, N’Doye is eccentric but most probably the best midfielder in Romania and above the Liga1 standard just like Hizo once said. If Dinamo wants to get rid of unprofessional players, they can start with Adi Cristea, Ianis Zicu, Pulhac and Niculescu who were involved in “scandals” off the pitch and ON the pitch they never perform. N’Doye atleast convinced in the EL and in the games that mattered. Their midfield would be trash without him and they can’t afford a player on his level with a “professional” attitude.

He’s an outstanding player, no doubt about that. CFR are already dominating this season and with another top class player like this, I wouldn’t be surprised in the least if CFR won the league again this season (like in 2007), and possibly even doing better than Unirea did in the UCL this year.

What he does in his free time is his business as long as he performs on the pitch. He’s adored by the fans and maybe some colleagues are getting jealous because he’s just 2 classes above everyone else. If he were to leave at the end of the season I just hope he joins the title winner so that team would be atleast stable in the central midfield which is probably the worst covered position in Romania.
